With a commitment to transparent and client-focused financial planning, Afiq brings over 12 years of professional expertise in the investment world as the founder of Granada Wealth Advisory.
He also holds an academic background in economics from the University of Sydney, complemented by a master’s degree in financial planning, positioning him to provide informed, strategic guidance across a range of financial disciplines. His speciality lies in shares, with advanced proficiency in U.S. equities and derivatives, and having successfully led large, diverse portfolios, delivering results-driven strategies tailored to clients’ unique financial goals.
His career in wealth management has included co-founding Kauri Asset Management, where he helped build a practice grounded in integrity and trust.
At Granada Wealth Advisory, he continues this mission, working with a steadfast focus on maximising client wealth and offering a clear, straightforward approach to financial planning. His philosophy is built on transparent, honest practices, ensuring each client is supported with the highest level of service as they work toward a financially secure future.

Our People
With over 28 years of expertise in financial markets and investment, Issam Eid brings a robust focus on Australian equities. He has held senior roles in risk management, dealing, and portfolio management with prominent institutions including Macquarie Bank, ING, Credit Suisse, Salter Brothers, Arrow Asset Management, and Sigma, a specialised investment manager. His extensive experience in managing small company portfolios has granted him deep insights into a wide array of businesses, strategies, and management teams. Over the past two decades, Issam has consistently delivered strong returns, driven by a disciplined and analytical approach to portfolio management.
Issam also contributes to the community as a director of Zakat House, a charitable organisation in South West Sydney. Additionally, he has served as a director of the Lebanese Moslem Association in Lakemba, NSW, demonstrating his dedication to community service.
Issam holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). His comprehensive background and commitment to ethical investing continue to support his reputation as a seasoned and respected leader in the Australian investment landscape.
